About my blog:
I intend on using this little slice of the interweb to share my experiences in life with you. I started this blog back in 2008 when my husband and I drove across country. It served it's purpose as a way to let family and friends know what we were up to, but now I'm hoping to evolve it into something more meaningful that extends beyond just family and friends.
{WARNING: I'm not a writer, so please excuse any spelling, grammatical or any other writing-related mistakes I make.}
About me:
I'm happily married to a intelligent, creative, loving man who is currently employed by the U.S. Army as a UH-60 helicopter pilot. We have two cats that we treat like children. Well... we don't go as far as to clothe them, but let's just say that they're very well taken care of. We're currently stationed in Japan, which has to be one of the most amazing places to be stationed! I've only been here since March (my husband came over in January) and if the adventures we've participated in thus far are any indication of what's to come, well, I might just die of excitement!
I am part nerd and part outdoor adventurer. I am happy in front of my computer, teaching myself about design and photography, but I'm also happy outside in the woods, climbing rocks, shredding pow (I'm really not that cool) and backpacking into the middle of nowhere. I also enjoy crafty things and I don't do nearly as much as I'd like to in that department (I'm working on it). There's much more to me, but as usual, I'm running late and I need to stop writing. Ha ha! Maybe I'll add more later...
